I didn’t find anything appealing about Katherine’s character

Well, the plot is nothing new, but it is still quite watchable. I just didn’t feel the chemistry (on Laura Dern’s part) that would make the story believable.

Katherine’s character was nothing like that to me, just a pale, grumpy, superficial author

Let’s face it: for a young, attractive person to like someone so much older, you would expect that older person to be wise, charming, interesting, etc. I wonder what would have sparked Owen, maybe just his vulnerability at that time.

Katherine’s tantrums were hard to watch 😃

I also wish we had seen more depth in Owen’s previous relationships. Now I just feel bad for him in both relationships.
